Prof. DSc Radoslav C. Rashkov

Radoslav C. Rashkov is a Professor of Physics, DSc, leading the String group at Sofia University. He is working in the field of Theoretical high-energy physics, String theory, Quantum field theory, Holographic correspondence and related subjects with more than 80 papers in the field. Some of his most prominent scientific accomplishments are:

Generalization of the non-commutative theories arising from strings to the case of non-constant dilaton backgrounds;

General description of spin chain/string duality and its relation to integrable systems of Neumann-Rosochatius type;

Proposition of a generalized method for unified description of giant magnon and spiky string solution by reduction of the string sigma model to Neumann-Rosochatius integrable system;

Discovery of holographic magnetic catalysis together with V. Filev and collaborators):

Extending the holographic setup up to the non-relativistic case via asymptotic analysis of the holographic Fisher information metric.

Currently, he has more than 30 years of teaching experience in the field of String theory, Holography, Conformal field theory, Theoretical Mechanics, Calculus, Functional analysis and more.
